Hotel De La Ville offers a central location and spacious rooms with high ceilings and comfortable beds. However, the amenities and service leave much to be desired, with ongoing internet issues and poorly managed room requests. While it has the potential to be charming, the lack of attention to detail and responsiveness from the staff significantly impacted my experience.

Rooms
5.0
My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large bed and a decent bathroom. However, it lacked a window, which made it feel somewhat claustrophobic. On top of that, the noise from the pool bar kept me up most nights.
Service
5.0
The staff was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, their English was very basic, making communication challenging. I also felt overlooked when my room request was not handled properly, and I received no apologies.
Location

The hotel is centrally located, with restaurants just around the corner, making it convenient for exploring Buenos Aires. This aspect was definitely a plus during my stay.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite basic, consisting only of toast and coffee. While it fulfilled my needs, I expected a bit more variety or quality, especially for the price range.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel lacks a lift, which can be inconvenient, especially for older guests or those with heavy luggage. The Wi-Fi also had frequent outages, which was frustrating.

My stay at Hotel De La Ville had a charming old-world vibe, though it came with a few drawbacks. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my experience more pleasant. However, the musty smell in the rooms and unreliable internet left something to be desired. Overall, it’s a cozy spot for budget travelers looking for character rather than luxury.

I had a spacious room with a king-size bed and a good-sized shower. However, the mustiness was noticeable, and some rooms had issues like small bathrooms and inadequate ventilation.

The staff was always friendly and eager to help, despite the language barrier. I appreciated their efforts in making my stay more enjoyable.

The hotel is centrally located with a few decent restaurants nearby, but I later realized that being in the central area might not be the best choice for exploring the city.

Breakfast was quite limited with no hot options and just basic cold food. It wasn’t very satisfying for me.

WiFi was inconsistent, which made it hard to stay connected. The air conditioning worked well during the hot days, but that's about it.

The hotel has a charming aesthetic reminiscent of a grand old house, but the internet connection was unstable and service systems like the doorbell often malfunctioned.
